As a boutique firm, we are selective about the companies and candidates we represent. We value long-term relationships and focus our efforts on strategically identifying and placing the right candidate in a position, rather than just filling it.

For the past decade and a half, our recruiters have forged strong lasting relationships within major companies in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston markets. We know many key players within many different organizations. This helps give us a true understanding of the type of candidate that would work best within a particular organization.


Over the last 15 years, Pugh Executive Search has nurtured trusted alliances with other boutique firms. So when it becomes necessary to broaden the candidate pool for a particular position, we can call upon these additional resources.

Tracey Pugh - Our Founder


Tracey is particularly skilled in placing candidates in financial positions because she worked in the field herself. After graduating from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, Tracey began her career at Deloitte and Touche in Houston as a CPA where she worked on oil, gas and financial services audits. After moving back to her hometown of Dallas, Tracey worked in the Corporate Accounting department of a Telecom leader, DSC (now known as Alcatel) and at The Associates Mortgage Company as the SEC Reporting Manager before finding her career niche in the recruiting profession.


More than a job.

Tracey is an executive recruiter whose career has become a calling. Her purpose is to help other people elevate their professional lives by placing them in an environment where they can best use their natural talents. Her greatest satisfaction as a recruiter is helping open up new doors of opportunity for her clients and watching them grow.
